RAI TV licence.

If you have have been keeping abreast of the latest news in Italy, then you will know that the RAI television licence, here in Italy, is about to be added to your electricity bill from 2016 onwards.  

This is designed to stop widespread non-payment of the television tax. 

Renzi also added that it is not enough to say that you do not have a television, since the criteria will be 'if you are connected' in some way.  i.e if you have a table or smartphone, then this is sufficient to warrant the tax being levied. 

It shoudl also be noted that inline with this new collection method that the fee will fall from €113 to €100 per annum.
