It is that time of year again when
we start to crawl out of our winter holes, do some touring around Italy and
start getting out and talking to people directly where they live.
However, for Spring 2016 I have
chosen 2 new venues to take our Tour de Finance events:
The second at the Una Hotel Tocq in Milan
(nr Stazione Garibaldi) Date to be confirmed
We have managed to get a line-up of
top speakers who can answer the questions on everyone's lips, ranging
from:
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY MONEY IF
ITALIAN BANKS GO BUST?
WHAT WILL BE THE IMPACT ON MY
MONEY, IF THERE IS A UK EXIT FROM?
SHOULD I CHANGE POUNDS STERLING
INTO EUROS NOW OR WAIT UNTIL A UK REFERENDUM?
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PAY LESS TAX IN
ITALY?
DO I HAVE THE MOST TAX EFFICIENT
FINANCIAL PRODUCTS AS A RESIDENT IN ITALY, EVEN IF I HAVE MONEY OVERSEAS?
CAN I REALLY PROTECT MYSELF FROM
FURTHER FALLS IN THE FINANCIAL MARKETS, LIKE THOSE WE SAW EARLIER IN THE
YEAR?
To help answer these questions, in
Sarzana, (La Spezia), I will be hosting a discussion with the help of:
CHRIS WANLESS
Associate Director at Rathbones
Investment Management (UK): He will be answering questions on world
financial markets and the impact of the UK exit from the European
Union.
ANDREW LAWFORD
From SEB Life International.
He will be talking about limiting tax liabilties through the use of the
Investment Bond in Italy and also about the risks posed by the Italian
banking system.
JUDITH RUDDOCK
Studio Del Gaizo Picchioni.
Judith will be taking questions on being 'in regola' in Italy.
GARETH HORSFALL (MYSELF)
Manager of the Spectrum IFA Group
in Italy. I will be asking the questions and also discussing the
benefits of correct financial planning for foreigners living in Italy.
At the event in Sarzana, La Spezia,
I will host a FORUM style discussion and openly invite you to ask your own
questions as well.
The event will open for coffee at
10:30am with the discussion starting at 11:00am. This will be followed by a
FREE buffet lunch with wine and drinks and the opportunity to talk directly
to the speakers on a one to one basis. The event will finish at approximately
13:00pm.
You may know that I have been
hosting these events for some years now and during the years I have found the
format I use to be more inclusive and delivered in a way as to be
understandable and without excessive useless information.
For this reason, I limit the
speakers' use of powerpoint presentations. I feel they act as a
distraction from the main messages and can quickly become boring.
In addition, I have found that the
group size is best when limited to 25 people.
Therefore, if you wish to attend I
would ask that you book early by contacting me on
gareth.horsfall@spectrum-ifa.com or call me on +39 333 6492356
to book your place early.
Places will be given on a first
come first served basis.
I hope to see you there!
