Harry Schindler, war veteran
and lifelong campaigner to reinstate the lifetime right to vote in UK
elections, has recently been informed that as UK citizens we will have the
right to vote in the next UK elections in 2019, even if we have been resident
outside the country for more than 15 years.
I am not sure whether you are aware or not, yet, but the tireless campaigner, Harry Schindler, age 93, war veteran and lifelong campaigner to reinstate the lifetime right to vote in UK elections, has recently been informed that as UK citizens we will have the right to vote in the next UK elections in 2019, even if we have been resident outside the country for more than 15 years.
This is an incredible lifetime
achievement for Harry Schindler who has been campaigning for many years to
reinstate our lifetime right to vote in UK elections.
Harry has presented his case at the
European Court of Human Rights and also the Supreme Court in the UK.
After case after case was overruled or referred
back to the UK courts, Harry was informed by letter, at the start of September,
directly from Downing Street, that from the 2019 elections we will have the
lifetime right to vote in UK elections, again.
