Buon Ferragosto

 

I wish you a Buon ferragosto and I hope you manage to stay cool in the 'Lucifero' African anticyclone currently covering the country. Keep your anguria close at hand!  As I write this newsletter, I notice that the hottest ever recorded temperature in Europe has been set in Siciliy at 48.8 degrees Celcius!
